Madame Tussaud's Hollywood Wax Museum

For my oldest Daughter's Birthday this year I asked her where she would like to go before we went out to dinner in Hollywood.

She immediately responded to Madame Tussaud's Hollywood Wax Museum.

She invited a friend from Film School and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Museum and found it different from our experience many years back at the Las Vegas Museum.

This experience was more interactive with the figures displayed not behind roped areas, but out in the walkways and we were encouraged to take photos with our arms around the wax figures and in many cases clothing and props were available. One of the features she enjoyed was the casting in wax of her right hand.

The total experience took us about and hour and a half because we wanted to study the figures closely and take photos. We spent quite bit of time in the large Gift Shop and found many interesting gifts and books related to Hollywood.

Madame Tussaud's Hollywood Wax Museum is located in the famous Hollywood & Highland Center which is home of the Kodak Theater where the Academy Awards Show is presented and right next door to Grauman's Chinese Theater.
