Luxury Bus Service
When I need to commute between Las Vegas and Los Angeles I prefer the “Airline on the Ground” Lux Bus Luxury Bus Service between these two tourist destinations. Lux Bus has been operating since July 7, 2003 and has been providing transportation between the cities of Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Las Vegas. The Daily Las Vegas Service provides daily transportation to and from Las Vegas.
Lux Bus America has a passion for service and thrives on exceeding their clients’ expectations. Passengers travel in luxury aboard Lux Bus’ state-of-the-art motor coaches appointed with leather seating, seat back audio, and feature films. The onboard coach attendant caters to the passengers needs with complimentary beverages, snacks, pillows and blankets.
Every time I have opted to fly between Las Vegas and Los Angeles
it usually takes almost as much time as driving. When you drive you can use your cellular phone and not have to worry about going through airport screenings and possible flight delays.On the Lux Bus it is even better because you don't have to drive and you can relax and watch a movie or work on your computer or phone and leave the driving to them. A brief stop in Barstow, California gives you time to stretch and grab a quick bite to eat. Many of the travelers on the Lux Bus are foreigners from Europe or Asia and it is interesting to talk with them about there travels around America. The Lux Bus makes several drop off points on the Las Vegas Strip and for passengers going in to Los Angeles a smaller shuttle bus will take you to your hotel after reaching the hub in Annaheim.
The Lux Bus also does some tours to the National Parks as well as the more popular Southern California Destinations.

APPROXIMATE MINIMUM FARES
The fares listed below are APPROXIMATIONS only, and demonstrate the approximate minimum fare to the below listed locations. Time of day, route taken, day of week, and destination can dramatically influence the fare shown on the taximeter. The information contained herein was produced from sources believed to be reliable.
Sixteen taxicab companies service the Las Vegas valley. When you enter a taxicab, the driver will start the taximeter (referred to as the “drop”) and an initial charge of $3.20 will register. If a taxi ride originates at McCarran International Airport, an additional airport surcharge of $1.20 per trip is added to the taximeter. After the initial “drop”, the taximeter will assess a fare of $2.00 per mile ($.25 for each 1/8th of a mile traveled). If the taximeter senses that the taxicab is moving less than 8-12 MPH, the taximeter will assess a charge of $.25 (twenty-five cents) every 41 seconds ($22.00 per hour waiting time). That is why the taximeter continues to accumulate charges even when the taxicab is not moving. Once the taximeter senses that the taxicab is moving at a speed greater than 8-12 MPH the fare calculates on the actual distance traveled.
